How can we implement continually evolving technology that focuses on Information Flow, Satellites, 5G Maritime, Tracking and Services (ship tracking, port terminals & connected containers), Maritime Blockchains (digitalisation of the supply
chain & maritime insurance) , AI & Automation (progression towards the autonomous ship & optimising the logistics track) and Cyber Security protection against cyber-attacks & cyber threats?

Oceans of Opportunity

Approximately 70% of the earth’s surface is covered by water; challenges still remain in reference to underwater exploration and research.

Can you help to promote a further understanding of the underwater environment and to encourage the development of techniques and tools to explore, study, and exploit the oceans?

Ocean Sustainability

How can we use the ocean, its tidal cycle, and currents as an alternative source of clean energy? Capturing valuable data is essential. By using for instance sensors and IoT, how can we modernize the current practices for more optimized harvesting techniques that follow international laws, stopping pollution at a large scale, and enable surveillance? How can we utilize open platforms and blockchain technology?
